The Diagnosis.

Klinfelter's is not hereditary and the parents have nothing to do with it.

It can be hard to diagnose Klinefelter's at an early age. Boys with Klinefelter's seem to have a tougher time learning compared to other boys. Early recognition and hormonal treatment of the syndrome can substantially improve the quality of life and prevent serious consequences

You can't make a punnett square or a pedigree for Klinefelter's Syndrome because it is not a problem concerning allele combination; it is a trisomy condition. It is not passed from one generation to the next the way alleles are this is because most people with Klinefelter's are sterile.

This is a karyotype of Klinefelter's syndrome.  Notice the extra X chromosome in the bottom right.
